IT'S BACK!
Since 2016, It’s a Drag To Give takes local community leaders who volunteer to dress in drag, often for their first tiime, and put on a show to raise money for local charities. It’s an amazing, fun and exciting event full of energy, laughs, and good times!
This year, we are pleased to partner with One Step Away, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization founded by former performers Debra Kahookele and Stuart Takehara. They have graciously provided their non-profit to allow for your tickets and sponsorships to be tax deductible.
One Step Away is committed to stopping homelessness before it starts by offering immediate, emergency financial assistance, due to an unforeseen crisis or emergencies to keep people in their homes.
Additional beneficiaries include Long Beach Pride and the LGBTQ Center of Long Beach.
